Need info on converting a 93 to Bose system

My 93 came with the standard radio which is the non Bose system. The head unit is less than the best so I replaced it with a Bose HU when it recently died. I have Rockford Fosgate aftermarket replacements rear speakers and they sound way better with the Bose HU feeding them. It seems that the rear speakers are powered. The front is another issue. I have non powewred Alpine aftermarket speakers and with the Bose HU, they sound like...well you know. If I get Bose amplified speakers do I have to rewire the car to power them or are they just plug and play.

Thanks

Sup, well from what I've heard BOSE is a less then desireable brand that had its "hey-day" in the mid 90's but does not hold up to todays aftermarket selection or quality. I'm just another audio noob but I suggest getting a decent HU and redoing the interiors with some decent components and maybe a 4-channel amp. I don't know enoguh about BOSE to offer any technical answers. Sorry about that....but Good Luck none the less....
