OEM Cd Changer

I own a 97' SE with a Bose system and I am wondering where the factory installed cd changer is installed. I am thinking it must be in the trunk, however I am not certain of this. Can anyone give me some help on this?

If you purchase the Nissan changer it comes with a 25' long wiring harness with doc showing installation against the side wall on left side of trunk. If you decide to install it there you will also need the install kit which is just a heavy L-shaped mounting bracket that bolts to the trunk floor and holds the changer vertically (face up). I am sure that the "factory" (or is the really the dealership?) would have installed it the same way.
Some people instead install it under the passenger seat and so do not need the install kit. I did that all winter but now have it trunk mounted. Actually this way I am kept from changing CDs while driving, probably a good thing.
