fiberglass?

Im looking at doing some fiberglass for a trunk enclosure and also to play around with fiberglass. I saw this website and was wondering if this is a pretty good explanation on how to use it. Is it?

Wow, that's cool. I found that writeup through an entirely different site and had no Idea it was written by an orger. I have a few questions about fiberglass while I'm here. Does it sound as good as MDF or birch etc for a sub enclosure? The reason I ask is that I really wouldn't need it for its ability to take wierd shapes (not for now anyway) but I would imagine it would be a good deal lighter than MDF. So would the sound be just as good or should I just stick with a wood enclosure? Thanks. I still think that's so cool...It's a small world (wide web).

where did you get the resin? I looked in home depot but couldn't find any. How much did the polyester or cloth you used and the resin cost together? Thanks.
