Infinity Kappa Components

I am looking for new speakers for the front and I came across the Kappa Components Perfect 6.1. I was wondering if anyone has ever heard them and how the sound quality is. My brother has a pair of Kappa 2-ways and they sound good. Thanks in advance for any help.

I've had perfects for nearly 2 years. They've been great for me. I have Boston 6.5s in my last car and I like the tweeter in the Perfects better and mabye the low end in the Bostons better. On the whole they're a great setup if they get enough power. They chew it up pretty fierce

I had perfect 6.1 components for 6 months and I hated them, they didnt not produce the mids I wanted. There are much better choices in the same price range. I ended up with JL XR 6.5's and they sound 10000x's better then my infinity's could ever sound

^^^ I agree....the 6.1's were a lil too harsh for my taste, and the mids were lackin' IMO- there are better all around comps in that price range, some more power efficient- perhaps those mids would work better in a kick panel-nevertheless not impressed

If I switched out I'd go with Diamond S600s or Focal 165k2. Both very nice, but I haven't had any problems with the Perfects and at 189 bones, couldn't resist.

I've had mine for a year now and I still love them. 100w/channel from a Hifonics Z400.
