im look at the alpine type-r swr1241 or the infinity kappa perfect 12.1 but dont know which one to get. i found alpine type-r for 93.99 a piece, and infinity kappa perfects for 118.99, i dont know which to go, im a poor college student, lol but i want bass!!! also if i get two which amp would be the best for alpines?(leaning towards the alpines cuz of price) or wats the best amp for the infinity? im a real noob on car audio and appreciate all the help i can get!

 

well if running 2 12" dual 2 ohm type r's id go with a jbl600.1 if you put them in a sealed box. this is a solid setup. my buddy has this and its def. loud with some good dq.
