Attn those with Microvision 7" Screens....answer this ques. please....

i bought the screen for a friend who hooked it up to a dvd player. only thing is when he turns the dvd player off the screen then shows a blue screen that say NO SIGNAL.

is there a way to turn screen completely off....b/c the remote that came with doesnt even have a shut off button

does your screen come on when you start your car? You will have to put a switch on the wire that give the screen power when you turn on your car.

yep i have put that in the install directions in the audio forum. Connect the red and orange wire together and then to a switch. on the other side of the switch connect constant power and your done

all you have to do is disconnect the remote wire. (i think it's the orange one, might be the red). Just leave it connected to nothing. Then you can turn it on and off with the remote. Trust me, i've done it...it works
