I am in the group deal for the UDP for my maxima. I've heard things about it affecting the alternator. In my car now I have a new headunit, all new speakers, radar detector and the sharper image air purifier, and will be putting in 2 neons. I would like to get subs, and 2 amps, but what do you think the affect will be on the alternator at idle due to the UDP? I am worried about draining too much . If any of you guys have a system with a UDP, please tell me how it is for you. Also, what is the affect on the heat and ac with the UDP? Thanks.

I have a UR UDP and have no problems with any of my electronics. No dimming, etc.

 

What electronics do you have?
