Changing whole system questions

What do you guys think of the bose system in the 5 gen maximas. I have found it to be horrible. The bass is too loud without any clarity and i dont hear any mids.
I would like to know if chaning the whole system including HU, 4 speakers, and sub, 2 amps , is a good idea or should I leave some of the oem components and mix them with aftermarket components. Does anyone know if the oem amp powers only the sub or the speakers as well?

I would say change the whole system. Mixing different parts doesnt work too well from what I hear.

I completely agree with suprropmp and slickrick. Carefully get rid of the Bose and save it all for when you sell the car.

Check out my thread here for more info.
