a blew a fuse on the power wire, and replaced it today. Now that i connected everything back up, as soon as the amp powers up (powers the components), there is a horrible whine that comes from the components. What could this be? I'm getting sick of problems with this thing...

bad ground... check your ground and make sure you sanded the area and that in fact it is a solid ground.

I already did that, still whining, and a few days ago when everything was actually working, I'm using the same ground...And I checked the RCA cables too.

This could quite possibly be the most ****ed I've ever been...ever. I think I'm going to call US Acoustics or thezeb.com tomorrow to see if they have any ideas or whatever. Who knows...

i thought u had the jbl amp? are your power and rca wires on opposite sides of the car?

yeah I was considering both, I think I just got a little mixed up a while back. and no, they're right next to each other. But they were right next to each other before the blown fuse and there was no whine...

hmm. what exactly have you touched since you messed with it? where is the amp located?

What caused the fuse to blow in the first place?

Check your wiring to your components to make sure that they are not coming in contact to any ground.

No, I figured it out. The front output on my HU are messed up. I have them plugged into the rear and they play, I just can't fade it. Now I have to look into how to fix it.
