Just bought a delphi skyfi and installed it in my 03. Looked around but didn't find the answers I was looking for. I was wondering if anybody has painted the ugly black antenna to match their car, and if it affected the reception any. I was also wondering if anybody has experienced the sound difference between the tape adaptor and the wired fm modulator (if I should just stick with the tape or buy the wired fm mod). Thanks

 

Some of members from www.xmfan.com paint theirs and they said it works fine. I was going to do it also but instread I relocated the antenna to inside the car next to the 3rd brake light and reception is fine there also.
