dvd player

dvd player

i want to add a dvd player so i can play dvds on my screen...but i'm not sure were i could mount it the screen takes up 2 slots in the dash and my hu takes up the other one.. ne idea's for placement

You can always stick in your glovebox or center console.

I actually removed the piece with the clock and hazard/rear-defrost, took out the clock and remounted the buttons, then installed the DVD player up there...took a while to get it done, but it looks pretty good.

Yes Please do, I have a tv molded in where the double din is and my PS2 under my passenger seat so its just a hassle to play a movie. I thought about doing this but wasn't sure if it would work. Can you posst the pictures of where you relocated the buttons too?

I definitely will....it took quite some time to get it how I wanted it. Just to give you an idea, I had to make a molding of the original piece so I could get the curve measured accurately, then I heated plexiglas and bent it around the molding to make a new dash piece. I used mini-SS toggle switches (Radio Shack) and used blue LED's for the on indicator (the wiring was quite interesting). There was more that went into it, but that was the general concept.

yea i got a headunit that does it and i love it! cleaner than a seperate one. but they are pricey
