stock bose stereo with aftermarket subs and amp??

i've got a 97 se with the bose headunit and everything, and i've got two audiobahn flame q subs with an a8002t amp to match. i want to keep the stock headunit, cuz i like how it looks and everything. what is it that i would all need to keep my stock head unit, and also have major bump in the trunk? also, with this set up, if i got a udp, would i suffer from it?

it hooks into your wiring harness from the headunit, forming true RCA outs, hook these to your amp and you are good to go. use cobymoby to get it, good dealer and a great help to the org

I had to use a different wire for my remote on my 2000. I'm not sure if it is the same harness for the 4th gen's but I'm pretty sure it is.
