Sony vs. MTX? What do you think on these setups?

What do you think about this setup:

Sony XM-2200GTX 2-Channel Amp pushing
MTX T610X2A Enclosed Subwoofer (Loaded with two Thunder6000 10" Subwoofers)

Will this setup be better?
Sony XM-2200GTX + QLogic box + Pair of Sony XS-L101P5 10"

What sounds better Sony or MTX?

If you have any suggestions, how to make it nicer, all of them will be very welcome.

Also, what's the best way to connect them? With the bridged output or 2-channel?

Thanks in advance.

From what I have been told and read, Sony sucks *****...that being said, I dont really love MTX either. Given the two choices, I would definitely choose the MTX stuff. Now, it doesnt seem that you are looking to spend too much money on your setup, but you could definitely get a better setup for just a little bit more than either of those choices. I to have been looking into a cheaper setup, and so far I have come up with the following: 1 12" Adire Audio Shiva ($125), 1 300W refurbished JBL amp http://www.cardomain.com/item/JBLBP6001Z ($160) then build your own box, or buy a sealed one. Its not two 10's, but im willing to bet it will hit harder than two sonys. Pls correct me if im wrong.

Given the choices, I'd say neither. I learned long ago that XPlods are crap ( blew 6 in 2 days, not even fully powered), plus they sound like crap. MTX is better, but still lagging. Just look around the net, there are plenty of quality subs u can get that'll out preform 2 10's from either sony or mtx

2 Da Max: I think you can get them off the adire site at www.adireaudio.com or, you can get them here http://www.acoustic-visions.com/~aco...s/adire_shiva/

I agree with SublimeI30t. There are many other options for about the same cost that you would be more happy with. The shiva's are an excelent choice.
