CD Changer to work with Bose

I have a 98 Max, with Bose. There's a CD CHG button, i want to know if i can add any cd changer to it for it to work. I went to crutchfield.com and the only one they said would work was a 6 cd changer costing 300 dollars, I just think that's too much. Are there any more cost-effective options? perhaps cd changers with mp3 support?

thanks.

you can get an fm modulated changer, youll lose a hint of sound quality but will only spend about $150.

those never look good, i want something to actually work with my system, as the functional cd changer.

Thanks though.

You can try www.cdchangersonline.com or www.jerryromenissan.com or www.courtesyparts.com or dave b and see how much the nissan one would cost. The first link is an aftermarket unit which "might" work with your radio. If you want mp3, you will not be able to use the cd changer controls.
