Help Wiring Goodies for the car (playstation 2,rear trunk camera)

My current setup is a stand alone monitor (alpine cva1003), farenheit dvd player, and a alpine cdca headunit. I plan to install a ps2 and another video input from the camera.

I understand i will need a switchbox/tv tuner to allow a couple more inputs, but how is the ps2 powered? is an inverter used and hidden somewhere? will it cause interference in my speakers?

i searched and got a million and one threads damnit. thanks

I have a similar setup, but with different equipment (Pyle monitor, Pyle CD/DVD player, Dreamcast, camera) and I've got an inverter powering up my DC. The inverter mounted to a small baffle board, behind the rear seat, and is wired to a switch running to an ignition-powered source.

That way, even if I forget to turn the switch off, the power will turn off (saving battery life). I get no interference in my speakers at all. But I'm also thinking that a lot of that has to do with placement, as well as how cheap/quality is the inverter itself.

Good luck with YOUR setup, and keep everyone informed on how it goes...
