I am considering purchasing the Alpine 9831 HU along with either 2 pairs of Alpine SPS170As or Infinity 6002SI (References). (If anyone has experience with either of those two please let me know.) Would it sound fine running the speakers from the HU and purchasing a mono amp and sub? Or would it be best if I bought a 4-channel amp to power the speakers as well (something I wouldn't want to do unless I absolutely should)?

 

depends how loud you wanna be...alpines internal amp is good neough for me
