ideas for 2002 Double Din area

I currently just have my Pioneer head unit in one din and the other is the "pocket" looking thing. I want to have this area all filled up because I think it looks like ****. The kit is composed of 2 pieces and just doesn't flow with the rest of the console. I want a one piece setup where the headunit and something else just kind of blends in.

I am thinking there may be enough room for a couple of gauges with a custom fitted kit. Has anybody tried this or does anyone have any ideas. I love my interior and think it looks classy except when I see the god aweful looking kits for aftermarket head units.

Should I just start looking into creating a custom fiberglass kit? If possible at all?

Please send the ideas guys,

Mark

I had a eclipse unit in the top din and I was about to install a 1/2 din eq for the second din. It balanced out the hu and added a lights factor to setup. Too bad someone thought that my hu deserved to be theirs(may they rot in hell).

those eclipse units cost a TON don't they? Like the eclipse tv units? Got a pic of one of the units so I can see what you are talking about?

Our faceplate options are non existant.

it looks very clean and blends in with the rest of the dash. And I am not talking about the actual Head Unit. I am talking about the surrounding area :
