I'm thinking about buying this player and a 7" lcd for my 4th gen. I'm trying to figure out if it will play vcd's or some type of format similar so I can say download music video's and play them in my car.

Any comments or suggestions about this player from anyone who has had it or is currently using it would be appreciated. Anyone run this w/the stock Bose? I'm curious how that will sound. Also wondering about the load times say between mp3's ect.

Any other recommended cd/dvd/mp3 player's becides the pionneer?

This is a really good Deck. I wanted to get this from the get go, but didn't have enough so sacrificed for the time being. Anyway, I seen this one kid with it and a screen and he was playing an episode from Da Bassment on it, so yes it plays VCDs. As for the sound, he didn't have Blose anymore, but I'm sure it wouldn't be all that great. It would be fine, but not loud, bumpin or anything extra that you might like. For it's full potential, you'd need aftermarket sound setup as well. I'm actually ordering mine the end of this week and selling my current DVD/MP3/CD HU.
