I just finished installing 2 15 inch kicker solobarics run by a punch 800 amp. They sound a lot louder than anything else ive had. but my trunk is vibrating badly. i already fixed the license plate but its really bad. Should i buy that dynamat trunk that they sell?it retails for $130 but i can get it cheaper off ebay. Is there anything else i could do or is this the next best place to start?
yep it is the only way i spent about $330 on a case(6 rolls?) of dynomat premium , trunk lid and roof are done anywhere from 2-6 layers , roof still flexed about 2 inches peak to peak above sunroof but it didn't make anymore noise

Now, I don't have any personal experience with this stuff, but I have heard that it does a very good job. It is called Great Stuff Expanding Foam. You can buy it at Home Depot. As the name implies it is an expanding foam that you can use to fill up cracks and crevises. It will change the resonant frequency of some of the body panels and they might not vibrate quite as much. A lot of people say that you should use the expanding foam in conjunction with the sound deadening material, whether it be Dynomat or the stuff made by McMaster.

I've been lookin for it because it
used to be sold at a local shop but it closed.
The local home depot only has cheapo expanding foam
but I don't trust it all too much becuase it takes forever
to dry.
