i bought infinify components for the front, 62.1i for the rears and 1 perfect 12 sub.

my question is...will the 62.1i set ruin sound imaging in my car? could i do anything with the amp to filter out some unwanted frequencies? and what exactly are those unwanted frequencies for the rear speakers?

all 5 components will be powered by a 5-channel mtx amp.

You should consider setting the high pass crossover on the amp channel feeding your fronst speakers at about 80 Hz. The rears should be set somewhere between 80 and 200 Hz for rear fill. The lower they are set the mode midbass you will get at the back of the vehicle as compared to the front. Yoour amp channel for the subwoofer should be set somewhere around 80-120 Hz. Try these out for starters and then adjust them to where you like it best....
