Just got Alpine 9835 - Need help with settings
Hey all I just got the Alpine CDA9835, a set of infinity kappa perfect speakers and 2 12 inch type Rs on a 300W amp. The deck has so many features I don't even know how to use them all. Just wondering what some of your settings are (time correction, crossover and EQ). I'm going for clarity with a powerful sound.
Any thoughts? Thanks!

hmm well I can recomend following the manual which is pretty good in regards to timing. Or goto the website and use that to figure out the exact measurements for time corrections..
As far as crossover goes.. idk it is really up to what you like and how things sound.. I go for about a 65 hz crossover on the subs with 24 db slope becuase I dont personally liking it reaching that far up... My highs are at 80 or 100hz (cant remember..car is at home) with a 12 db slope.
I have no rears so I cant help you their but it woudl be my preference that rears not play high end and are their for mostly filler. Not saying this will be an amazing setup for you but it works for me. Please remember though that I have an Amp on my front components so you might have to work a bit to keep the bass from being overbearing becuase it doesnt look like they are amped. Btw I only have one 12 inch Infinity Reference but it gets the job done.
