Please Help me! 99 Max, Bose Bass Frequencies?

Somebody told me if I connect an Amp and Sub to the stock bose system in my 99 Maxima that I wont get any bass below 100hz. They said the HU only sends frequencies above 100hz, to the speakers. Is this true? Either way is it possible to get deep bass out of a sub connected to the stock Bose system?

Somebody please answer me. I know there are probably 1000 posts covering this subject, but I have read 10 pages of posts and can`t find an answer.

lpf? What is that?

So the radio sends all frequencies to the speaker? Where are the crossovers? At the speaker? Where should I tap into the speaker wiring to get the lower bass frequencies?

I looked through the sticky, I still can`t find out if the Bose head unit sends low bass freq. to the speakers and where I should get my signal from.

Are you 100% positive that I can get freq. below 100hz. from the Bose system to the amp? I don`t want to spend a few hundred dollars to end up with a 100hz. mid bass subwoofer, I want deep bass too.

The 2000 Maxima has a factory subwoofer, doesn`t it?
