400 hurts
I have a 2002 SE and I've tried everything to remove resonances from my front doors. I've applied liquid deadener and a full layer of dynamat extreme. Even the trim panels are thickly coated with liquid deadener. The dynamat creates an almost completely sealed baffle between the inner and outer door panels. A 9" deflex pad sits directly behind each front speaker. Finally, a thick gasket formed from modeling clay prevents the front waves of the speaker from getting loose behind the trim piece.
That being said, I have terrible ringing noises at frequencies below 500hz. The incredibly useful 30-band eq I have lets me remove most of the problems. Unfortunately, the rest of the midbass disappears along with them.
I need some ideas guys. Anything else I should try?

I have Infinity Kappa 60.5cs for my front stage. They are amped with the new Infinity Reference series amplifier model 7540a for about 100 watts per channel. I've read many posts here and it seems that more than a few people do not like this speaker. I have to set the treble an average of 6-8 db lower to compensate for the bright tweeters and high dash mounting location.
I'm not exactly an audiophile. I want the best sound quality possible, but thats pretty hard when you only have a vague idea of what great sound is like. What I've been doing is adjusting the frequencies a little at a time while listening to all kinds of music. I've managed to get my sound much better over the past month with the equalizer alone. I can't believe how bad the natural response pattern my system actually is. There is a very loud peak between about 800hz-1.25khz. I have to cut about 12 db from this region. Then there is the area below 500hz. The eq is not precise enough to remove the ringing and echoing noises I hear below this point.
