Component Component?

im thinking of purchasing a component set to replace my front kenwood speakers. any suggestions that wont break the bank? thanks.

also, why is that i get no bass from my speakers. i got 2 3-way kenwood 280 watts up front and 3-way pionneer 300 watts speakers in the back but i get no real bass. it just sounds like a hollow thump. stock speakers sounds way louder. i do have a sub but i want some real bass coming from the front speakers which is why i want to get a component set.

what exactly u lookin to spend on a comp set? with any comp set u get, u need to sound deaden the doors and use an amp to power them. If using the right set with a good install u can get some good midbass and very nice sound/

i was looking at ebay and they seem to range from $75 to $150 which sounds great for me. just cant figure out which brand to get. what is "deaden the doors" mean and is that absolutely required? i do have a amp currently running my 4 inside speakers.

$75 to $150 is kinda cheap for components. So just remember you get what you pay for.

deaden the doors means using sound deadener like edead, dynamat ect. its not totally required but will help in there midbass and sound perfomance. What amp do u have now? what power is it rated at to do per channel?

There are so many different kinds that you can go with. I have the ARC Kar series and I think they're really good. I had the Eclipse components those were good also.
