I bought a 97 Max SE about three weeks ago, it does not have the Bose system . I also did not have a factory alarm, it had an aftermarket alarm on it but it was removed by the dealer . I was wondering if I should go with a Sony X-plod complete sytem ? ( I'll take any recommendations and other options) I would also like to know of where I could get a good deal on an alarm with keyless entry , kill switch, and all the bells and whistles.

DEpends on FUnding>>>

<<<right?

I like the sony stuff now. They finally got a little bit of solidnes to them(used to seem thin and flimsy to me). The make tha nice head unit, the amps are supposedly good quaility and I heard rated on point. Meaning if the amp says 200watts it is 200 watts. (There are no restrictions on amps to say how much power they have, an amp could claim 1000w and really peak out at much less or much more than that depending on the quaility.) I've yet to hear their midrange and highs, but have heard 2 12's and they packed a nice punch.

FYI I have all eclipse audio. I like it, but wish I got JL instead. JL has better mid bass handling. IMO

Dude whatever ya get will be good, chicks cant tell the difference and F what anyone else thinks. Its up to ur ears. Most importantly, Just get enough POWER!!!!! So down the road you can turn it up if you get bored with it.

My boy owns a stereo shop here in Ct. I may check out what he has in stock. He loves Diamond Audio but the price is off the wall !
