XM setup?

I want XM satellite but I don't know what would be the best setup for me. My car's HU has an XM receiver but you have to buy this $150 tuner for it. I don't really want to get this because then I could only use this in my car; I want to use it out of the car also, especially at work.

I've looked at the hand held unit but that isn't cheap ($300+!). I want to be able to put it in my car and take it out to play on some portable speakers. What should I get?

BTW, it must be XM. My car only takes that and my parents have an add on subscription I can get.

I'm using the SkyFi2. I have a home docking kit at my house and at work and a car docking kit in the car. Right now I'm using the built in FM modulator in the car but I'll be hardwiring it to the head unit when I get a free weekend.

I picked mine up through the friends and family deal. Use the e-mail address bill.wax@xmradio.com as your sponser.

skyfi2 is definitly the way to go for XM. $200 but its car kit and tuner. the myfi is definitly the best because its portable, car, and home for $350...which is worth it.I mean,I wont lie...but I got the myfi for free cuz i work at best buy and they gave us all one if we signed up for service.but skyfi2 is 2nd best.
