People with Pioneer DVH-P7000 DVD player

For some reason I can't figure out how does the CD TEXT works. I tried many CDs and none of them show it. The manual is no help.
Can someone help me out here?
How did you make yours to show it?

Its the same model as DVH-P5000MP. THe only difference that it got a fancy screen with dolphins and doesn't play mp3s.

I would imagine (if this cd player is like my alpine) that the cd text will only work with a cd full of mp3s. but who knows.

I was using Real player to record from mp3s to CD. On my gf Sony Headunit, text works with the same CDs, but on mine it doesn't show. If I press a button Display/Scroll nothing happens.
The thing is its not a cheap unit, so it has to have this function. Any other suggestions?

You can just ground that wire and enjoy movies while you are driving.

Nobody answered my question though if anybody has text on their 7000?
