Nitrous injected Speakers
uhh, another marketing scheme?
even if it does help cool the sub, it's overkill for everyday use. i can only see this working (IF it works), if people are burping their subs for SPL contests... when VC's temperature can sky-rocket. nitrious is what....-180 degrees F? a sudden freeze of the metal can weaken it. my 2 cents...

cooling.. it can dramatically increase power handling of a sub if you're not toasting the voice coils while in use. could easily be set up to open when a certain power level (i.e. voltage controlled switch) is reached on the subs so you're not using it unless you're really pumping power to it.
Overkill, IMO but if you need a way to keep them cool, that's one way to do it.

the sudden drop in temp could easily crack the woofers magnet...but thats just me. I know that people hae had suces with liquid cooling speakers but I think that s a lil too much.
Click here for an article about a system with a custom-built liquid cooling system for the amps and sub. Very unique.
