Shivas Ported Box Specs

A pair of 12s

What box should i make?
Does anyboyd have a diagram they can draw up, or somthing?

depends on ur trunk and how u can fit it. dont go smaller than 1.75 cuber per sub according to adire. if you're building a box for the 1st time go about 1.3 cuft per sub sealed.

he's not saying you can't, just know that the box will be fairly large and if you're willing to give up the trunk space.

i'd port it then if you listen to a lot of rap music. it'll give you some nice output. you lose a bit of sq though if you're going ported.

hey rick i thought adire recommended 3 ft^3 ported no? i thought 2^3 was sealed. either way that's why i don't like em (even though they sound good) unless you have an SUV

adire told me 3.68cuft gross for 2 tuned to 26. people say go no less than 2 cubes each. adire's recommendations are not really for car audio installs...more for HT when less power is being used. mine sound great in a cube each sealed (better than w3's and type r's in the same box) so i go by my ears and not what people think because of various alignments for in car response.

ported. sealed= 1-1.5 each. ported=1.75-2.25 each imo.

hmm pretty good. elias (supa) made his sealed box for his friend's integra huge, like 4ftcu. net i think for 2 lol
