late night custom project

My eclipse avn has an auxiliary input and i didnt like the fact that if i used it on its own, there would be 3 random wires hanging out so i went to Radio shack for a small custom project.

i purchased 3 of these (1 in each color):

...and the pictures say the rest.
look at them in order to see the progress

just thought i'd share. now i can hookup an ipod, computer, ps2, whatever - and its not permanent but very versatile - i like it

I don't really need to video portion of it but if I could use it to add my iPod and/or satellite radio and control each device from this unit that would be great.

That's hot. I was going to do the same thing so I could plug in a MiniDisc player. Now all I need is the input adaptor for my head unit. Thanks for showing me the correct Radio Shack plugs. I was wondering what type to get. Those look like they screw and tighten right in the hole.

coming from Tony - i definitely take it as a very high compliment, thanks

yea black maxima - they unscrew from the back and mount
but MAKE SURE you keep the jagged washer the same way that it is when it comes in the package-
if u reverse it it doesnt hold that well
good luck
