Infinity Kappa?

I'm really interested in going all infinity kappas, with the 3 way 6 by 9s in the rear. What size speaker should i get in the front for a 94 SE w/bose? Are the infinity kappas good speakers, or are they overpriced junk. I really just want a uniform system with same brand. Also, what do you think of the infinity kappa perfect 12"? Any help on system building would be nice, by the way i listen to mostly punk music with the occassional need to put on some serious bass to blow away the chump next to me , what can I say, I'm 18.

The Kappas are nice, you might want to use an external amplifier to get the most out of them though.

I personally have Infinity 6.5" References in the front and 6x9" References in the rear and am happy with them.

Just my 2 cents, IMHO, Kappas are some of the best bang for your buck in mid end car stereo, the References are already very nice speakers with features not seen on most, the Kappas expand on that with some Infinity only technologies, the speakers have amazing response and beautiful sound quality, but really work much better with external amplification, In my experience, I've found pairing them with MTX mxa amps provides for crystal clear sound production and plenty of power, have you looked at the Kappa Perfects, or are those out of your price range?

I've never even heard of kappa perfect speakers only subs, and i really don't know what I want but somehow the word "kappa" has me hooked. lol. On my last max i had lightning audio 6.5s and pioneer 4x6s and 2 lightning audio 12s with a lighting 150W RMS amp and they sounded nice, haha. Would references be a much different upgrade than my old system, and is it really worth the extra money for kappas? If you put amps to the 6x9 kappas, they should hit pretty hard on their own too right? Thanks.

The Kappas are a whole different set of technologies than the References, the References are nice, but based on more conventional speaker manufacturing processes, although they are well designed and put out a nice crisp sound. Kappas use such things as Ceramic Metal Matrix Diagram and Cast Alumininum basket
