Hi-
I have a Kenwood VZ907 in dash screen that only stays lit for a few seconds after you open it. Someone suggested that once the screen is out to give it a gentle tug and that should fix it, but it doesn't. The screen will stay lit as long as the motor that tracks it in and out is going. As soon as that motor stops the screen goes black. All other functions on the unit work, including the screen when it is lit. Does anyone have any input or suggestions?

Do you still have warrantee? Sounds electrical. Check you power and ground connections first. If those are solid then it's a internal issue.
