Has anyone layered sound deadener throughout the interior of a 5th or 5.5 gen Max? I want to add a layer on the doors and the cabin floor, need to know how much to purchase. Thanks! :P

i have 65sqft of eDead waitin to go in my 4th gen. dont know if it'll be enough for the floor and doors I'm also gonna do a layer of ensolite over the eDead. should be dead when i'm done. Simplest way to guess is measure the interior and calculate the area, then order a lil more than that It doesnt have to be exact.

ill be getting 100 sq ft of edead v1se and double layer my doors, deck and trunk...i think thats enough

Yeah, I hear ya. I think I am going with 200sqft of eDead V1.0SE. Should be enough for the doors, floors, and behind the firewall & roofliner if I am feeling particularly ambitious. I am also going to be doing the hood and fenderwells!

What do you guys think of putting a layer of 3.0 over the 1.0?

i think putting a layer of v3 over v1se is a waste for sure. 200sq is out of control... might as well dampen your house also.

if anything you put the v1 over the v3. You dont do it the other way around I reccomend the v3 for the hood and fender wells, they make it in black now so it'd look decent. also, you may have less issues with the v3 there. Also, get some ensolite from www.raamaudio.com and put a layer of that or 2 on top of the v1 on the floor, and a bunch over the firewall. money well spent, and its actually pretty cheap.
