Its pretty simple, take off 2 screws on the bottom, one in the door handle. The hardest part is to take off the plastic surrounding which around the handle that opens the door. There are 2 clips I think. Make sure you don't brake them. I had to play with them for a couple of minutes the first time I did it. After you take it off, unclip clips around the whole door panel and then you take it off. After that you have to disconnect a couple of wires, but thats simple.

its pretty ez, just two screws and a few good tugs to remove plastic quick clips, or whatever they are called, thats for a 2k, not sure about an '02. just be careful removing the trim around the door handle. It takes a little finesse, but once you do it, its pretty ez.

Actually he has a 5th gen which is a bit different. Besides you left out the screw in the bottom of the 'handle' you use to close the door.

To take off the door panels its quite simple, as with the 4th gens the hardest part is the trim around the handle to open the door. Start with a small flathead at either the top or bottom and pop it off, then towards the back will be an additoonal clip to remove.

Remove the circle tab at the top right corner to reveal a #2 phillips, remove that, in the 'handle' you use to close the door there a small tab there, remve then remve the screw. They pry up (center is easiest) the swicth panel that contains you window swicthes,locks,etc...unplug the harnesses, grab the door panel by the bottom 9theres a spot your hand will fit) and yank towards you to pop all the clips.
