I had 2 SOLO- X installed in my maxy but i had to remove them to make my system all alpine... Im going for the functuality... Alpine alows you to tweak every little thing from the convenience of yous in dash monitor...

Theyre not 'specifically designed' for that sub, just Kickers higher line of amps which have controls at your fingertips.

As for your MA amps..yes you get what you pay for, I can guarantee you were not recieving Any Where Near 4,400 watts

Saw the 22" sub in Vegas at CES and that thing is a turd. Not really practical for any application. It's almost like JBL and their largest Crown amp. Why would this be used?

I'd hate to see the price on that thing... The thunder 9500 series is $700 alone. I'll stick to my Memphis.

i still think a loud system consisting of a smaller driver is more impressive than one huge **** sub.

Clarion used to make a 31 or 32" sub. I can't remember how much it was.
