stealth box Qs

so whats the general consensus about the stealth boxes? how do they sound? do they rattle ALOT? is it worth it?

I'm more interested in the opinions of ppl who have them, but feel free to chime in if you want =)

also, what should i expect to be paying if I plan on gettig one?
whats a good price, and is there anyplace online that sells them?

And also be aware that you will need an amp that can supply 200+ watts at a 3-ohm load.

Mine sounds great. A little costly but worth it IMO. I'm using a phoenix gold xs2300 to push it. I got mine through a dealer for about 450 installed. The cheapest place i found online was www.usacaraudio.com. But like Mike said there's no warranty if you buy it online.

Are all amps that are 2 Ohm stable 3 Ohm stable? I would assume they are, but my amps don't list power ratings for 3 Ohms. I was thinking of switching to JL, but this was something that was bothering me.

If you have a 2-channel amp that is only 2-ohm stable that you plan to bridge mono to run the sub, then it won't safely and reliably run a W6 with the voice coils paralleled. If this is the case, then you'll need to get a W3-D2 to match the amp. If your sub amp is a monoblock, they are all at least 2-ohm stable and will have no problem supporting a 3-ohm load. How many subs are you wanting to run and which amp are you gonna use?
