What is the depth...

How deep are the fronts of my 2000 max. Could I fit RE's (3.6 in) in there?

you would need a 3/4" spacer, possibly a little more. not quite sure on the exact mounting depth of the door.

In mine, the doors were 1-13/16" deep when the window was in the down position. So with a 3.6" mounting depth you would need a baffle around 2.5" thick...if you're building a baffle from scratch. If you're using the OEM baffle, then just subtract the 2.5" from that and what's left over is what you need to add. I think cardomain sells some Scosche spacers like slickrick was talking about...not sure if they'll have the size you need or not.
