Caraudio Raffle anyone?

Considering trying this again. I attempted to start it a few years back, but I dont think it took off at that time for whatever reason.

Anyway..simply put it would be similiar to a ticket raffle, except on here. There will be actual tickets/numbers assigned to everyone that pays.

The skinny..amount of tickets can range from $1-any amount. Obviously an amount everyone feels confrotable with. The amount of tickets, to be designated prior to start would decide the prizes available.

Depedning on the interests, I will post more info. Obviously the products raffled would be of the audio/video/security nature. Any where from simple coax speakers to amps to subs,etc...

--Don

BTW..Rich,Chris,Manny,etc I think you guys know how this works from CAF.

Now we just need to decide what to raffle. Ill of course offer several different things, so the winner could choose. Although they would all have to be within the same proximity of value...

Everyone buys tickets and are assigned a number. At the ending of the drawing a number is picked and thats the winner. As each person sends money their name will be written on a ticket(s), and the number would be PM/Emailed to them. Obviously this will be quite a bit of 'legwork' for me.

The money goes towards the purchase of the products. Obviously the items would be something I have in stock or readily availale to me.

yo cbfryman, I see your in lake city, but your car is n/a? Anyway, you should register with the CFMA (central florida maxima assn) and come out to some meets. See the Southeast US forum for more details.

And I also think that a raffle for x amount of dollars towards whatever is probably the best idea if Don can get a price list out for anything applicable, since that would probably get more of a response than those few of us who know what Don has and know what we want.

Don, how many more people do we need. I have a couple of friends that will chip in if we need to lower the entry fee.
