iPOD to stock H/U?

I have a feeling this has been posted before, but I can't search...so bear with me, guys.

The casette player on my stock 1997 Maxima H/U is busted and I can't use my car kit with my iPOD anymore. Is there any other way to hook up the ipod without a car kit or FM transcrappers?

I was thinking maybe through the CD changer plug that...I assume is in the back of the H/U? I have no CD changer, BTW. Is this possible?

this will turn your cd changer input into an RCA input.

I can't start new threads so I'm going to hijack yours.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

I just bought a Rockford Fosgate Omnifi system to put in my 96 max (it's an in-car mp3 player, check it out here http://www.omnifimedia.com/products/...12541&partner=)

it has a 6x7x2in Hard Drive enclosure that needs to mounted somewhere, and it looks like I'm either going to be putting it on the rear deck or under the passenger seat. The rear deck seems to be the better of the two options, because the drive needs to be ventilated and the space under my passenger seat tends to collect a ton of garbage which could build up and retain heat.

I have 2 questions:
1)what's the best way to screw into the rear deck?
2)how would I go about running the cables to the controller?

thanks

A cheaper option is a wired FM modulator. YOu can get one on ebay for about $25. You'll also need the nissan deiversity antenna adapter (set of 2).

I found its better to go with the NAI-POD interface. I just installed mine (after the cassette adaptor was just too distorted). It went ok, but way to much plastic to damage.

Though I have to CRANK the stereo to volume 31 (max), it sounds soooo much better than the cassette.

Wish I documented it as the 6th gen instruction page is missing info for those with the changer/cass option. And i found no interface from the changer to put audio in. Only for the Satellite. (hence the NAI-POD adaptor).

Just get one on ebay or check for "ipod" or msg "cobymoby" for a deal. He helped me out.
