help?

I'm still trying to hook my subwoofer/amp to the stock headunit. I can't even get the stock HU out I removed the ashtray and unscrewed the bolt inside but I can't seem to get the damn thing to budge help? Does the stock HU even have RCA plugs or do I need a different adapter? Whats this other **** about battery terminal do I have to have that in order to power the amp? Right now I have the 1400watt amp wiring kit + RCAs do I need anything else?

You will need a line output converter. You will need to get into the speaker outputs of the deck and then run RCA's from there to your amp. They can be found at your local car audio shop.
