maybe you could build like a little lip in your car. Like run a piece of wood, or metal or something across the length of your trunk, and screw that into the trunk and then your subs will rest firmly up against that and not move, but you can still take them out because the subs arent mounted.
I just cut out a sheet of MDF (cheap at Home Depot) to my trunk. Put the carpet over it, and you can use angle brackets to secure the sub in place. You don't have to screw the brackets into the sub box, just have one on each side.
I used L brackets and sheetmetal screws. Doesn't move at all. I have 2 Diamond Audio TDX 12" in a 4.&&cf ported enclosure. Very heavy. I am however going to replace the stock floor mat and use 3/4" MDF cut to fit so I don't tear up the undercarrage with the screws. Either way depending on budget and how deep you want to go into the project.

If you look closely you can see my amp to the left of the box mounted on the back of the back seat. The dents on my sub came from a bungy cord that rode up when the sub was on. I didn't have one long enough so I had two of them together and they connected right at the front of the box. When they rode up the sub hit the two hooks. It still sounds good so I don't worry about it.
Last weekend I made a "false floor" in my trunk and lined it with carpet. Now There is virtually no rattles in my trunk (except my trunk lid from the bass) and my box doesn't move an inch even in hard cornering. The carpet on carpet approach works well, no sliding at all.
so this is what i came up with....
its just a piece of particle board. i have 2 screws on either side of the brace in the back of the car. i just drilled them into the board covering the spare. it seems to work pretty well and looks better than a plain wood brace

haha nice, isnt there a thing called carpet glue or something? I saw it at home depot once, suppose to stick carpet to carpet, anyhow, if I were to use a false floor I would have two piece, the further piece having a inch high wood going all the way across securing the box and the front piece so you can access your spare tire

Are your amps hiding?
