hard wire a power inverter and use somthing for a remote wire thats switched power from your ignition, i guess you could use the remote from your head unit but try to find somthing else first and then just plug your ps2 into the screen with AV cables

I'm actually planning on installing a ps2 into my glove box shortly. I took some measurments today and its too big to fit without cutting up the sides. I don't know how long it'll take me to complete though.

I took out the glove box yesterday to see how to fit it in and its not possible. You would have to cut out the entire back and most of the side to get it in and that would eliminate the hinges for the glove box. Unless you just trash the glove box and put the ps2 in its place its not going to fit in that area.

I got an extra glove box off eBay just to hack up for the bulky ps2 install, You have to play with the box open, but so much of the sides have to be hacked off that the weight of the ps2 won't allow you to drive with the box open, my snapped in 2 after a couple hours. You can try to reinforce the sides with some thin fiberglass mat, and somehow try to support it with metal strapping or something; it definitely is a custom install.;alot of cutting with a jig saw, cut, try to fit, cut, try to fit. You'll have more luck with the new ps2.
