No one ever seems to reply..help?

Okay I decided I wanted to install my stereo system by myself instead of paying to have it installed professionally for a ridiculous amount of money in my opinion. So far i've only ran into one major problem, after realizing the stock head unit on my 2001 SE doesn't come with RCA jacks(big surprise :P) so I bought a out line converter. Heh now if i'm not mistaken I need to re-route the right + right - left + left - into that converter then plug the RCAs from that converter to my amp? Btw I am completely aware that if I just bought a brand new head unit I would have a lot easier time hooking it I wouldn't have to deal with this stupid converter but right now i'm low on cash so spare me the lecture :P On the back of my head directly behind the CD player portion there are three plugs that i've determined must be for the sound system the rest is A/C/Lighter and whatever the hell else. Out of the three plugs and numerous colored wires running into them what color should the right + right - left + left - be?

if you are useing this for a sub, just get your speaker connections from the rear speakers. Much much easier, and you can make note of which wire goes to which post on the speaker to get your polarity.

+1 (assuming this is for a sub) since you have a 5th gen, just tap it right off the sub on the rear deck. On the converter, hook up both negatives to one of the sub's wires, and both of the positives to the other sub's wire. Wont matter which is which.

well it will matter a little bit if your subs are out of phase to your mids, but lets face it. If you are keeping that factory head as well as mids and highs, SQ is not #1 on the priorities list.
