Newbie Questions about Headunit

Okay, so I own a 4th gen max. I put in new non-component speakers in the front and rear deck. However, my headunit is still stock. I just noticed that the stock paper speakers have "15w" on the back of each speaker and the new ones are rated 55w per speaker. If my headunit is stock 4th gen, is it providing enough power to each speaker? Is it even coming close? Does the headunit have anything to do with my situation, or am I just a newbie...?

thanks!

definetely get a new headunit will make a big difference, and if you can afford it get one with 3 sets of rca out puts. in case you plan to upgrade to subs in the future

DEFINITELY get a new head unit. WORLDS of difference. Run an RCA straight from your head unit to your basslink. Then call it a day.

No your Bose head unit is not providing enough power, nope its not even coming close. Spend another $200 on a nice deck (Eclipse, Clarion, Pioneer, etc) and your sound will increase tenfold.
