headphones...

sorry for being a bit offtopic since it's not related to car audio. i figured i'd ask here because many of you are audiophiles

but i was wondering if any of you guys got recommendations for earbud (or something relatively light)headphones...

the one that came with my mp3 player crapped out on me, and i need to get a replacement soon. my workout is a tad boring without some music to get me going . what do you guys use?

yeah, too bad small headphones suck compared to larger units.

i need something light/small so it doesn't get in the way while exercising. think i'll just get some regular 'ol sony in ear headphones.

Get the Sony NudeEX off of ebay...they sound good for the money (around $45 shipped) and theyre really good quality. They also come with a nice case that you can put your mp3 player in...if its about the size of a Zen Micro, Youll love these the cord doesnt get in the way like the other ones. The only thing is that they tend to fall out if you jog heavily...

NudeEX eh? i'll look into that. i'm not too concerned of them falling out, i only jog at a moderate pace. majority of the time, i'm lifting.

Shure and Etymotic Research are your best bets for earbuds. For great quality headphones check out Sennheiser and Grado.

If you're on a budget Sony makes some good ones at >$100. Also check out the headphone reviews on Ipodlounge.

I have sony mdr-ex71 earbuds. They are excellent for the price. I listened to the entire shure line at CES in las vegas this year and the diffrence is almost indetectible to my ears. Plus, the sony's are the most comfortable i have ever used. $30 at amazon.com

those sonys are good for the price - but the lengths of each ear's wire is different - it drove me crazy because one ear kept falling out. also - the wire is too short without the included extender, and way too long with it

i think sony also makes the mdr-ex51 or something like that which is the same but with a shorter cord. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...onics&n=507846

the uneven lengths lets you put the cord over your neck so the line won't get in the way if it was dangling in front of you.

thanks for the links fellas
