Before I drive up to NJ to see Don, and before I get all my ICE installed, should I look into getting a new battery? Course, im running the stock one now, but would it be a good idea to get a better battery? Wheres a good place to find them?

Okay, Ive been looking at Optimas website, but Im still confused as to which one fits or Max.

 

You can find them at most automotive stores and they'll charge you 120-170ish for them or at least in my area they do. I'm confused by the sizes for my car too go to a shop and ask them which one will fit and then you can buy it online.

Thanks. Those arent the best prices Ive seen, but theyre reasonable. Ive found them for $124.95 @ www.1st-optima-batteries.com with free shipping and $109.95 from www.remybattery.com but im not sure about shipping from them.

 

The prices on the link are still lower, if you look at what fits our cars, their red top is $124, the link is $95.19, their yellow is $140, the link is $127.

 

How is $127 lower than $125?

 

remybattery charges shipping. it seems exact but the cheapest was $20 for my area

 

I run a yellow-top in my 3rd gen. Works like a charm, system still hits really hard without the car being on. I paid $160 for mine at autozone cause my old batt died and wanted to upgrade but still drive the car the same day so couldn't wait for shipping.
