well you did not mention an amp for the new interior speakers but you will need one especially since you want to keep the stock h/u. do you have bose? also my best recommendation for a $900 budget is pearl96max. pm him and he will hook you up with high quality stuff.

heres my system and its rough pricing....
15" Ascendant audio avalanche sub= $327
box=$60
DEI 750D amp=$190
kicker kx 150.2 amp for mids/highs= $115
CDT cl 61a components for up front= $150
CDT cl6x coaxials for rear fill=$50.

thats roughly $900 but if you hit up Don (pearl96max) he will get you better components/amps and keep it close to that budget.

you don't have to spend 900 dollars on upgrades. anything can be of an upgrade from a stock system.

$900... I'm going to spending $1500 on my truck here in June. And I've already dumped $1200 into it already.

You would be able to cut out an amp is you go with a Memphis Belle 600 watt. 5 channel amp, 400 watts for a sub, get a M-Class 12" in a vented box and you'll be amazed.

Here I'll give a little better list. Bad thing is I don't have a price list for Memphis, I'm working on that.

Memphis Belle 600- $450
M-Class 12" in Vented box - $140
Clarion Co-axials all the way around - $120

Those are a rough estimate. You might be able to get a better deal out of a Memphis dealer.

$900 really isn't that much. Its really about what you are wanting though. If you just want a good system that sounds good, you can get that with a little less than that, if you are wanting something that you can hear and feel a mile away, pay a little more, for the real audio enthusiest....mainly comp. guys.... sell your soul to the devil, and live out of your car. Forget about any type of relationship, you will be married to your system. lol
