Holy Bajesus, these ORION subs pound!

I just got 2 12" Orion C-Series subwoofers installed in my car on Saturday with a 500D Memphis Audio Amp and do those subs pound. They pounder louder than my friends 2 12" JLs and he's running 1 amp to each sub. I was thinking of getting another 500D so I can have one amp running to each sub, but I don't think I need it, these things makes my eyes rattle in my skull, literally!!

JL subs are not all that on their lower models. If your friend has 2 JL Audio 12w7 and each sub is connect to a JL 1000/1 amp or 2 12w6v2 subs each connected to a 500/1 amp I guarantee you they would blow the doors off of most subs. Orion is still a good brand though. You should compare similiar rated subs together.

Hmm well that narrows it down to a PR series. or possibly the MOJO, but it puts out 2000 watts so I doubt it's that.

i think its 2000 watt one they make, cause the 1000 watt one is a little bit longer than the 500, but not nearly as long as the 2000. u wanna see a pretty amp, check out the memphis belle.

i think its the MOJO bxd or something like that? it has a external gain controller, and the wires go on the left or right side to it

LOL. You'd know if it was the MOJO... it has a M on it with flames around it.

And the MC1100D is a lot, not a little, longer than the MC500D The M-Class is a dark grey/silver. PR is a half chrome half black. Now the PR 1000 isn't that much bigger than the PR 500.

The MOJO is a beast... it requires 13.8 volts constant to run. The Memphis Belle's are beautiful, especially that 1300 watt one. I'm thinking of using that in my Max to run everything. If not, I'm going to use the 600. Probably end up using the 600 since I want to get that Polk db.

Yep. The 1300 one is awesome. 300 watts split up for the interior, and a 1000 @ 1ohm stable for the sub.

I hope he has a good charging system.

I decided on a different path. After running through some of the numbers... I'm not getting a MC1100D. I really want the M-Class, and they're 400 peak. So I'm going to keep my 500 D, and purchase a Memphis Belle 600 instead for the Maxima. And I'll use that to run my interior and Polk db.

Also I figured due to some size restrictions on my 2 fiberglass boxes I'm having made, the M-class would work a lot better than a M3
