What gauge wire is our + battery terminal?

I'm about to upgrade my power wire in my car to 4 gauge. So I want a new positve battery terminal, what is the gauge of the wire connected to the terminal? Does 4 gauge fit under the carpet alright? Any info appreciated.

I fit 4 gauge under the carpet just fine. Anything bigger would be difficult.

I don't mind using a ring terminal, but I'm getting that white corrosion on the post, maybe the new terminal will eliminate that.?.

I had 0 gauge in my 02 max... power and ground to the batt... 4 gauge should be more than ok...

I used something like this terminal to connect the two 0 gauge wires to the batt..
