Cars w/ cabin deadening...worthwile to install a CAI?

Ok, so here's a question for those with sound deadening inside the cabin and CAIs. I am going to be adding ALOT of vibrational and deadening material to the ENTIRE cabin when I do my audio install. I am thinking that it will be nie and quiet inside the cabin...

...but I was wondering if this would be comprimised with the installation of a CAI? Will I have to turn the stereo up to compensate for the growl under the hood?

No. You will generally only hear the intake under hard acceleration. I can't hear mine even under WOT with my stereo at a moderate level. And I have no deadener as of yet.

Yeah, I'd be going the GAB method as well, but I am still not sure. I think that I am going to hold out for the time being and see how it sounds with the deadener, then w/ GAB...might not even hear it all that much after the hood is deadened, too. I like a quiet ride, so I am not sure how I will like it.

Thanks for the response, fellas!
